I'm a former foster, adoptive and bio mom to three humans, one cat and one dog. I was born and raised right here in the Rogue Valley - I'm proud to be a 7th generation Oregonian. I have 3 kids who will enter the Medford School District in the next two years, and I have many friends and family members with kids currently attending MSD. I have close friends who are teachers.
I have spent the last 15 years working for some of the largest brands in travel, negotiating and managing highly successful multi-million
dollar partnerships. My job requires me to work with diverse groups of people at all levels of an organization, ensuring that conflicting
priorities and feedback are heard and considered. This experience has taught me how to be an effective listener, resolve conflict, foster
collaboration, and stay focused on achieving goals, even in difficult situations.
These skills will translate directly to doing effective work on the school board. Just like in my professional life, I’ll listen to and collaborate
with teachers, parents, students, administrative staff, and community members to make sure the school board remains focused on the
success of our schools and the safety of our students. I’ll ensure that my decisions take into account the goals and concerns of everyone
involved, and I will work hard to ensure we reach the best possible outcomes.
